Ghanaian social media sensation, Kailani Ibrahim, popularly known as Powder Man, who went viral during the 2026 World Cup for his powder gimmicks, has appeared before the Accra Circuit Court over alleged visa fraud.
Ibrahim is accused of defrauding more than 13 people of over $30,000 after allegedly promising to secure visas for them.

In a video sighted by GhanaWeb on social media on August 26, 2026, Ibrahim was brought to the court premises under police escort. He was wearing a nose mask and a green hoodie.
The popular Black Stars supporter reportedly promised his victims travel opportunities to Canada, Nicaragua, and the United States, but allegedly failed to deliver and later went into hiding.
He was arrested on Monday, August 24, 2026, at East Legon in Accra by officers from the Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service Headquarters.

The suspect recently gained international attention as the viral fan who blew white powder during Ghana’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the guise of fortifying Ghanaian players to score goals against their opponents.
