Three needy patients receive GH¢50,000 medical support from Kofi Job Foundation

Renowned road contractor Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Dr Esther Okyere Gyebi, have funded the surgeries and treatment of three needy patients at a cost of almost GH¢50,000. The support, provided through the Kofi Job Foundation, enabled the three beneficiaries to undergo emergency surgeries and receive the necessary treatment. The intervention ensured that the beneficiaries received timely medical care, helping to save them from potentially life-threatening conditions. Speaking to OTEC News, the Public Relations Officer of the Kofi Job Foundation, Kwame Agyenim Boateng, said one of the beneficiaries, Mama Vida, was suffering from a hernia that had reached an advanced stage. Mama Vida said the high cost of treatment had forced her to stop seeking medical care until she turned to the philanthropic couple, Kofi Gyebi Job and Dr Esther Okyere Gyebi, for assistance. She said the Kofi Job Foundation found a surgeon who took her through the necessary procedures before performing the surgery. She described the support as timely, adding that the surgery had brought her great relief. She expressed her gratitude to the foundation for the assistance. Two other patients, one suffering from diabetes and another battling cancer, also received treatment and surgery funded by the foundation. Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Kizito, in an interview, said all three cases required urgent medical attention. He noted that the hernia patient, in particular, could have died if she had delayed seeking treatment.
