Salaga South MP calls for action on gender inclusion

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has called for stronger action to bridge the gender gap in leadership and promote greater inclusion of women and young people.
The MP made the call while participating in the Gender and Inclusion Summit, GS-26, held in Abuja, Nigeria.
The summit brought together women in leadership, youth advocates, and innovative young people to discuss ways of moving activism from agenda-setting to concrete action.
As the leader of the Ghanaian parliamentary delegation to the summit, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah said the gathering provided an opportunity to share ideas and perspectives on advancing gender equality and increasing women’s participation in leadership.
She expressed hope that the discussions and commitments made at the summit would translate into meaningful action.
Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah concluded by praying for the success of efforts aimed at achieving greater gender inclusion and equality in leadership.
