Refine more fuel locally to keep prices stable - COPEC to government

The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) has called on government to increase local fuel refining to reduce Ghana’s dependence on imported petroleum products and help stabilise fuel prices. COPEC Executive Secretary Duncan Amoah said supplying crude oil to local refineries would only make a meaningful difference if the facilities operated efficiently and produced fuel at competitive prices.
