Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and Communications at Charterhouse, has weighed in on Stonebwoy’s recent public outbursts directed at Sarkodie, stating that the musician may have been better off addressing some of the issues privately.
According to Robert Klah, Stonebwoy was within his rights to express how he felt, but doing so publicly could affect how the public and corporate brands perceive him.
Speaking during a discussion on UTV’s United Showbiz on September 13, 2026, Robert Klah said there appeared to be unresolved issues from the past that Stonebwoy used the opportunity to address.
“When you listen to the conversation, it looks like there were some things in the past that he needed to use the opportunity to be able to address. I don’t think Stonebwoy is wrong because he is expressing what he feels. Will it have an impact on how people perceive him? Yes,” he said.
He explained that one of the major challenges in the entertainment space, particularly when it comes to marketing and securing brands, is managing the public image of an artiste who has both a celebrity persona and a private identity.
“One of the biggest challenges in the space is when it comes to marketing and brands, is the management of the brand of a human being. Because there are two persons living in one. One moment, you’re Stonebwoy; the other moment, you’re Livingston. We have to be able to manage Livingston and Stonebwoy,” he stated.

Robert Klah noted that when an artiste fails to properly balance both sides of their personality, it can create challenges for their brand.
He added that Stonebwoy’s recent conduct may have surprised people who had not previously seen that side of him.
“Sometimes, if you’re not able to manage both properly, then you will have an issue. At this point, I think for those of us who didn’t know Stonebwoy could go off that particular way, they are the ones who are surprised. If you analyse him, really, that’s who he is; it’s just that we’ve not known that aspect of him,” he shared.
He further explained that Stonebwoy’s comments could create a new perception of him in the entertainment industry, even if that perception does not necessarily reflect who people previously believed him to be.
“Currently, what will happen in the space is that there is a new sort of perception that has been created about him, which may not necessarily be what people know, but it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong. If he hadn’t brought it up, people would not discuss it,” Robert Klah noted.
He, however, suggested that Stonebwoy could have handled the matter privately rather than discussing it publicly.
“Maybe he should have discussed it back door,” he added.
