Nigerian actress Sunshine Rosman has stated that she dreams of landing a lead role in an Indian film as she looks to expand her acting career beyond Africa.
Speaking on the Glass House with Jay podcast, Rosman said she believes her looks and versatility make her well-suited to portray characters from different backgrounds, particularly Indian and Spanish roles.
“My dream is to be like a lead character in an Indian film,” she said when asked about her career ambitions.
When the host questioned why she had chosen India, the actress explained that she sees herself fitting naturally into both Indian and Spanish roles because of her features.

“It could be Indian, it could be Spanish. God has blessed me. He’s put me in a position to be able to play multiple characters. I’ve seen that I could play an Indian character very comfortably,” she said.
“In terms of my features and what I look like, I could also play a Spanish girl really easily, 100%. So these are two races that I look like, and I would love to take advantage of it in my lifetime,” she added
Rosman acknowledged that achieving her dream would require significant preparation, noting that taking on a lead role in an Indian film would likely mean dedicating one or two years to fully immerse herself in the language and culture before stepping in front of the camera.
