AFCON Qualifiers: Côte d'Ivoire release squad ahead of Ghana clash

Ivory Coast head coach Hervé Renard has named a 24-man squad for the Elephants’ 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana. Renard has selected three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and seven attackers for the September/October FIFA international window. The goalkeeping department comprises Yahia Fofana, Alban Lafont and Mohamed Koné. ‘People remember your last result, not your style’ – Henry Asante defends Carlos Queiroz In defence, Renard has named Guéla Doué, Kassoum Ouattara, Evan Ndicka, Ousmane Diomandé, Emmanuel Agbadou, Odilon Kossounou, Christ Tapé and Ghislain Konan. The midfield options are Ibrahim Sangaré, Franck Kessié, Christ Inao, Patrick Zabi, Amadou Koné and Eddy Doué. Up front, the Elephants will have Yann Diomandé, Nicolas Pépé, Bazoumana Touré, Yoan Bonny, Elie Wahi, Yann Gboho and Ryan Fofana available.
