In a post shared on her X page, Efia Odo said there is no way Ghana’s leaders are unaware of the devastating impact galamsey continues to have on the country’s water bodies.

“They campaign on promises to fight galamsey, yet once in power, the urgency disappears. If they can see the destruction, why does their response never match the scale of the crisis?” she questioned.
