Akufo-Addo congratulates John Boadu, new NPP executives

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated the New Patriotic Party’s newly elected national executives following the party’s 2026 National Annual Delegates Conference in Kumasi. He extended his congratulations to Chairman John Boadu and the other newly elected national officers, wishing them a successful mandate. “I congratulate equally warmly the newly elected national executive officers of the Party, led by the dedicated Party worker, the new Chairman John Boadu, and extend my best wishes for a fruitful mandate,” Akufo-Addo said in a post on social media. He also commended the outgoing National Executive Committee, led by former Acting National Chairman Danquah Smith Buttey, as well as the National Officers Elections Committee chaired by Frederick Opare Ansah. Akufo-Addo praised the delegates for what he described as the successful organisation of the conference. “The Conference has, once again, demonstrated the vibrancy of the New Patriotic Party’s internal democratic processes,” he said. He said the successful completion of the conference reflected the party’s internal democratic tradition and thanked all those who contributed to its organisation and conduct.Source: mynewsgh.com
