Bury your differences, unite for the party - Fifi Kwetey to NDC constituency aspirants

National Democratic Congress (NDC) General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has urged party members to put aside their differences and unite following the party’s constituency executive elections held over the weekend.
In a message posted on his official Facebook page, Mr Kwetey congratulated the newly elected constituency executives and commended all stakeholders for helping to ensure that the elections were generally peaceful.
He also called on defeated aspirants and their supporters to embrace reconciliation, stressing that unity and collective effort would be critical to strengthening the party’s structures and advancing its political objectives.
“To all aspirants who participated, thank you for your commitment and dedication to our great Party. Now is the time to put our differences aside, embrace reconciliation and work together towards a stronger and more united NDC,” he wrote.
Mr Kwetey urged the newly elected executives to approach their responsibilities with humility, integrity and dedication, emphasising the importance of leadership that strengthens party organisation and advances the NDC’s shared vision.
“I commend all stakeholders for their contributions towards the generally peaceful conduct of the elections and appreciate everyone who played a role in the process,” he added.
The General Secretary further reminded party members that the NDC’s strength depended on unity and the willingness of its members to work together despite differences that may have emerged during the internal contests.
“Our strength lies in our unity, and our success depends on our collective effort,” he stated.
He wished the newly elected executives a successful and impactful tenure, congratulating them once again on their victories.
The message comes as the party moves beyond its constituency-level elections, with Mr Kwetey’s appeal placing reconciliation, cooperation and stronger grassroots structures at the centre of the party’s next phase.
He ended his message with the party’s familiar slogan: “Long live the NDC!”
