Michelle Agyemang, an England-born forward with Ghanaian roots, has officially inked a professional contract with the Arsenal Women's team.
The announcement was made by the English Women’s Super League club on May 2.
"We are thrilled to share that Michelle Agyemang has committed to her inaugural professional contract with our team.
"Joining us at just six years old in 2012, our England youth international forward has demonstrated remarkable growth and advancement throughout her tenure in our academy," the club's statement read.
Agyemang debuted with the senior Arsenal squad at 16, during the Barclays Women’s Super League match against Leicester City in November 2022.
Her first goal for the senior team came in the Women’s FA Cup game against Leeds United on January 29.
Now 18, Michelle Agyemang has participated in a total of five matches with the Arsenal Women’s senior squad.
She is regarded as a burgeoning talent, poised to become one of the elite forwards in women's football.
