Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that the power challenges being faced in the country will be a thing of the past very soon.
He disclosed that assurances from the Energy Minister are indicative of the fact that things will stabilize in the energy sector very soon.
The Vice President was addressing religious leaders in the Eastern Region when he made this known.
He said: “I know that there are challenges and I don’t want to paper over our economic challenges. We are going to work on them.
"Currently, we have issues with power challenges but I can say that the information I’ve received from the Minister for Energy indicates that very soon the power challenges will be a thing of the past. They are working at it and I’m very sure this will be a thing of the past."
He told the religious leaders that he had come to them to seek their support to lead Ghana in the coming year.
