Embattled Police Chief, DSP Gifty Tehoda has withdrawn a contempt application against two senior Police Officers.
The suspended Police chief took legal action against COP Rose Bio Atinga and Chief Superintendent Nantogmah Yakubu Aggrey.
Tehoda is being investigated in a case in which cocaine exhibits in the custody of the police got swapped into a different substance.
Her lawyer, Oliver Dzeble speaking to XYZ News said the withdrawal of the suit will speed up proceedings for his client’s reinstatement.
“Since we are seeking her reinstatement and we believe are making progress, we thought it wise to forget about the contempt application and focus on the main writ before the court”.
