The Founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi says because of division that hit the political class moments after Ghana gained independence, the West African nation has never been the same.
According to him, Ghana has not made any significant progress after the overthrown of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
This, he largely attributed to things that are happening in the spiritual realm of which successive governments have no idea about to find an antidote to it.
“We started this nation on division. Nkrumah said independence now but others were fighting it. Even today, they are still fighting it. How can we make progress then? Our country after Nkrumah has continued to decline and our leaders don’t have any idea about it,” he noted.
Interacting with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM, Monday, Prophet Badu Kobi said one of the things that keep on drawing the progress of Ghana backwards is the failure of some of its leaders to recognize Dr. Nkrumah as Founder of the former British colony.
“Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is the founder of Ghana but some people have simply refused to recognize this. Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ and Islam was founded by Prophet Mohammed. So, why are they refusing to recognize the efforts of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and deny him his rightful place in history?” the man of God mused.
He said Ghana is the light of Africa and for it to take its rightful place, it has to go back and correct the wrongs of past.
