Stop criticizing Kwesi Appiah - Langabell tells Ghanaians
The chief drummer of the Black Stars has sent a message of caution to journalists not to criticize the team’s newly appointed coach, Kwesi Appiah.
Speaking to pressmen upon Kwesi Appiah’s arrival, the ever-outspoken supporter who has strong ties with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) asserted that journalists must encourage and support the 56-year old to succeed but not vilify him.
He remarked that Kwesi Appiah is a great coach and the right person for the Black Stars job at this particular time.
"Kwesi Appiah's appointment is good for Ghana. He is the right man for the job and I'm glad that he is back".
"To the media men, this is my last warning to you . Don't criticize him. If there is something you don't understand, just go to him and find out". Langabell said
Kwesi Appiah arrived today to begin his two-year stint with the Black Stars following the FA’s decision to hand him the job.
He has been tasked to qualify Ghana to the 2018 World Cup and also win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
