May Day: Your sacrifices cherished – Ablakwa to workers

North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has saluted workers in the country as Ghana joins the rest of the world today, May 1, to celebrate International Workers’ Day.

The day is marked across the world to celebrate labour and the working class.

“Highest salute to all workers of Ghana. Your invaluable contributions and unrivalled sacrifices are ever cherished. There is a world to win!" he tweeted.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to be the special guest of honour at this year’s National May Day Parade to be held at the Independence Square.

This year’s May Day celebration is on the theme: “Ghana @60: Mobilising for Ghana’s future through the creation of decent jobs”.
