BK Hacken midfielder Nasiru Mohammed is in a joyous mood following his maiden Black Stars call up claiming he is proud to have landed his first invitation ahead of Ghana' clash with Egypt in the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Nasiru, 23, is one of the players to have been caught by the wide searching web of coach Kwesi Appiah in his quest to build a new Black Stars towards winning the 2019 AFCON.
The in-form Hacken playmaker who has been in magnificent for for his side in the Allsvenskan could not hide his joy over the invitation.
"It feels good and really great. Am very happy about it. Am thankful to Allah and I believe my hardwork and form for my club this season has also played a key role.
"So am really happy about it and am proud too. Ghana has a lot of players worldwide and for me to have gotten the call up is a great achievement," he told Ghanasoccernet.com
Nasiru is in line for a starting role in Ghana's last group game with the Pharaohs of Egypt on Sunday.
