The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko has advised Ghanaians to reject politicians who dabble in tribal politics.
In an interview with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko mentioned that elections have nothing to do with the tribe of candidates. He noted that the most important instrument is the ability of the candidate to work efficiently towards the betterment of the citizens .
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is fond of passing using tribal politics against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in order to canvass votes.
“If you have worked efficiently, then there is no need to use tribal sentiments to appeal to the electorate”, he added.
