Abdul Bashir, the assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, has expressed dissatisfaction with their recent performances.
The Phobians endured a 1-0 loss to Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.
This defeat is the fourth in their last five games, indicating a concerning trend for the team.
In a conversation with StarTimes, Coach Bashir pinpointed goal scoring as the primary issue plaguing the team.
"Scoring goals has been a persistent challenge for us. The players score during practice, yet it doesn't translate to match situations. We need to revisit our strategies and make necessary adjustments," stated the Hearts of Oak assistant coach.
With an upcoming match against Berekum Chelsea, Coach Bashir is calling for the fans' unwavering support to help secure a win.
"The team is not content with the current outcomes. We urge our fans to maintain their trust in us and provide their support. We are determined to face Chelsea and strive for the three points," Coach Bashir emphasized.
