A Ghanaian footballer in South Africa known as Arthur has been shot by South African Police.
The footballer who has been playing in South Africa for the past two years was shot in both legs at close-range at the Kempton Park for no crime.
Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, H. E. George Ayisi Boateng upon hearing of the sad incident rushed Mr. Arthur to the Grenclof Hospital in Pretoria.
He has engaged the appropriate authorities to ensure the unscrupulous culprits are brought to book.
Mr. Arthur is currently responding to treatment and will soon be discharged when fully fit.
