I was a misplaced priority to build more than 100 SHS, when the already existing ones are in need of infrastructure. These SHS buildings were not planned by the NDC but just for political gimmicks. They just wanted to counter Nana Addo's Free SHS promise. You only have to go to the villages where the buildings are sited and you will then realize how bad the NDC performed. Most of the communities do not need those schools at this moment in time. The problem with high school education is mainly affordability and not he buildings. Mahama should have continued the upgrading of the existing schools as Kufuor started.
