Joseph Quarm has been accused of inciting the NPP leadership against the DCE of Amansie West
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Amansie West in the Ashanti, Hon. William Asare Bediako has said, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker for the area, Hon. Joseph Albert Quarm, since assumption of office as a lawmaker has done nothing to ameliorate the poor living standards of constituents.
According to the DCE, what the MP has done all these while in office is to incite the leadership of NPP, both at regional and national levels, against him (the DCE).
“Since he became an MP for this area there is no single project he has done for the constituents”, Hon. William Asare Bediako who spoke on Nhyira FM’s “Kroyemunsem” morning show stated.
“All he knows telling lies about me and traditional rulers here to our party executives that we are practising galamsey in the district”, the DCE fumed during a telephone interview.
Hon. William Asare Bediako therefore accused Hon. Joseph Albert Quarm of scheming to oust him from office.
According to him, the MP has been making unfounded allegations against him which sought to run him down in the eyes of President Akufo-Addo and other members of the public.
A livid William Asare Bediako urged the public to treat allegations made against him by the lawmaker, that he is engaging in illegal mining in the area, with the contempt it deserves.
