Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah could be making a dream move to England after being linked to Premiership side Stoke City, Ghanasportsonline.com have been reliably informed. The Black Stars midfielder is likely to fly to England to complete the move in the coming days. Sources close to Ghanasportsonline.com indicate Acquah has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Club with a deal yet to be struck for the player to cross carpet to arguably the best League in the World.
Acquah was linked to Newcastle United but a deal with Stoke City seemed to have been reached as the hard tackler seeks a new challenge in his career. The 24-year-old has been in Italy since moving from Ghana Premier League Bechem United featuring for the likes of Palermo, Parma and Sampdoria.
He could be joining the likes of Christian Atsu, Andre Ayew, Daniel Amartey and Jeffrey Schlupp who are all playing in the English Premier League. Torino were planning a contract extension for the player who has been in the Club for the past two seasons.
