Bofoakwa Tano beat Dreams FC 2-1 in extra time to reach the FA Cup final

Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano has advanced to the finals of this season's MTN FA Cup following a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dreams FC.

The team from the Bono Region locked horns with the defending champions today in the second semi-final match of the domestic cup competition.

In a game played at WAFA Park in Sogakope, both Bofoakwa Tano and Dreams FC put up a good fight and produced a thrilling contest that witnessed three goals.

Bofoakwa Tano got the lead in the 47th minute but Emmanuel Agyei scored in the 60th minute to level the scoreline for Dreams FC.

With the 90 minutes ending in a draw, it took a goal by Bright Boakye Kyereh in extra time for Bofoakwa Tano to clinch a 2-1 win.
