The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has admitted that his team's defending in the Ghana Premier League has not been the best.
Speaking after his team's 2-0 win over Legon Cities FC over the weekend, the tactician stressed that his team must improve its defending going forward if it wants to challenge for the league title.
"We have conceded some goals this season that we shouldn't have. But then, it's part of the game. It's a learning curve for us as a technical team, a playing body, and as a team. We need to defend.
"The principle is that if you cannot score, you should not allow your opponent to score. We are working on it, and with time, we will get better," Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.
Kotoko has struggled to compete in the Ghana Premier League this season and currently sits 10th on the league table.
In the team's next game, Coach Ogum and his boys will take on Berekum Chelsea.
