Ghanaian international David Accam missed out in the MLS XI to face Real Madrid in a pre-season match next Month.
Accam could not make the starting team which has been named regardless of any late changes.
The attacker was expected to make the starting team having impressed for Chicago Fire this season where he has scored six goals for the Club.
However teammates Bastian Schweinsteiger and Nemanja Nikoli made the first team squad to face the European Champions at the Soldier Field.
Also in the starting team is former Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard, who currently plays for Colorado Rapids.
Greg Garza (Atlanta United), Graham Zusi (Sporting KC), and veteran DaMarcus Beasley (Houston Dynamo) were also named in the squad.
Others includes Miquel Almiron (Atlanta United), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC) and Kaka (Orlando City), Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC) and David Villa (LA Galaxy).
The players were selected by public voting via the internet.
However Accam could end up in the All Stars team which could consist of 18 players before the match on August 2.
Meanwhile Ghanaian trio Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah and Mohammed Abu will all be hoping to make the squad.
