Christian Atsu gave his post-match verdict after scoring a brilliant free-kick in Newcastle United's 2-0 win over Cardiff on Friday night.
His goal came in the 55th minute after he was tripped by Morrison on the edge of the area.
Atsu stepped up to clip a perfect free-kick over the wall and into the top corner.
"I always want to take free-kicks. I'm always confident," Atsu told Sky Sports News after the game.
"We wanted to win because we wanted to put pressure on Brighton.
"We'll watch their game tomorrow and we are expecting something good for us.
"The manager Rafael Benitez gives me a lot of confidence. He comes to the line during the match and tries to encourage me."
