Ghana defender Joseph Attamah is sad his club side Baseksehir failed to reach the Group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Attamah played the full throttle as Baseksehir lost 4-3 on aggregate to Spanish side Seville.
The former Tema Youth player was so instrumental in both games but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to grant his side passage to the next stage of the competition.
"It is just unfortunate we couldn't make it to the Group Stages because it was our aim to go far in this tournament," he said
"We have to work hard and ensure we qualify next year and do our possible best to go far when we get that opportunity again."
Seville earned a vital 1-2 away win in Turkey but needed goals from Wissam Ben Yedder and Sergio Escudero to force a 2-2 drawn at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuain in the return leg.
