President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has called on the government to add the Gyandu Park to its list of facilities to be renovated across the country.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) is undertaking an exercise to renovate the various venues across the country as part of preparations towards the 2023 Africa Games.
Work is currently on-going at both the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Essipong Sports Stadium.
The GFA President during a live discussion on Happy 98.9 FM pleaded with MOYS to add Gyandu Park to the selected venues up for renovation.
“Honorable, please let’s add Gyandu Park, it’s on our hearts so kindly add that one too. We can fix it without necessarily expanding it.”
Kurt Okraku was in a discussion with GOC President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, deputy minister of sports, Perry Okudzeto as they discussed the Effects of Coronavirus on Ghana’s Sports industry.
