Ghana midfielder Muabrak Wakaso is a key transfer target for Basaksehirspor who have just sealed a deal for former Manchester City left back Gael Clichy.
Wakaso has confirmed his departure from Panathinaikos where he only spent six months before departing to Granada in Spain.
Basaksehirspor have already in their ranks Emanuel Adebayor and Gael Clichy who are considered mighty signings and a statement of intent to rival Basiktas and Fenerbache.
The issue of adapting will not be a problem as the Turkish side also have Attamah Larweh in the club so Wakaso should be fine if he decides to join.
The 26-year-old played a total of 869 minutes of league action last season with a goal to his name.
