Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has intimated that the team is poised ahead of the Super Cup tie against Premier League champions, Aduana Stars at the Lenclay Sports Stadium on Sunday, 28th January, 2018.
The Porcupine Warriors beat FC Buffles du Burgos of Benin 1-0 in an International trial match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday. Thanks to Emmanuel Gyamfi’s goal.
This is going to be the second time Kotoko will be meeting Aduana Stars this year following their 2-0 victory over the Fire Boys in the just-ended GHALCA 8 competition.
”It is a big game and then you know they have already lost once against us so they are going to come in and then we know the task ahead of us, we are also poised for it because it is the first trophy to start the season,” the 22 year-old said in an interview.
He added, ”It is also going to give a lot of confidence if we win it so we are really poised and then we are going to continue our recovery training tomorrow then we look ahead on Sunday.”
