Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei has revealed the club are keen to retain Steve Pollack as head coach.
Pollack's future has been speculated since the Ghana Premier League ended last week.
The Englishman joined the Porcupine Warriors midway through the season after Croatian Zdravko Lugarusic was sacked.
After guiding the Porcupine Warriors to victory in the 2017 MTN FA Cup last Sunday in Tamale, the club wants him to stay.
''I gave the team a target to win the league by failing. This achievement is equally a good one and we thank God. Kudos to the entire for the performance,'' Dr Kyei said.
''The Coach? He should be staying. We are ready to keep him so it depends on him.
''I want to sort the situation about his future. A couple of days ago, we agreed that we will sort it out after the Cup finals. Hopefully from Tuesday, we will start negotiations.''
