Ghana and Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu who is now a regular for the Magpies says his previous failure at Bournemouth has made him a better player.
Atsu signed for the South Coast side on loan from Chelsea but a culmination of injuries and lack of form meant he never played a Premier League game for them before leaving the club in the January transfer window.
“ I have nothing to prove against Bournemouth,” he said before last weekend’s game against Bournemouth
“I have learnt a lot from all that happened in the past and it has made me a better player.”
The former Chelsea man is with his national team in Africa as they prepare to take on the Pharoah's of Egypt in the Central Regional capital of Ghana,Cape Coast.
