Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu climbed from the bench to score a consolation for Genclerbirligi in their 3-1 defeat against Kasimpasa in the Turkish SuperLig on Saturday.
Genclerbirligi started the on the back foot after a red card to Turkish international Ahmet Oguz in the 36th minute following a reckless challenge on Bernard Mensah.
Mensah could not continue the game again as he signalled the technical bench for him to be taken off.
A brace from Senegalese international Mbaye Diagne in the 39th and 49th minute set Kasimpasa to victory but Elvis Manu, who had come on for Petar Skuletic at half time, halved the deficit in the 64th minute.
Diagne sealed the win for the host in the 89th minute through Mbaye Diagne's artful penalty kick.
Former Liberty Professionals midfielder Kamal Issah also played the second 45 minutes for Genclerbirligi.
