Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have been hit with another resignation just a day after their coach Paa Kwesi Fabin resigned from his post.
The latest person to left his post is Derrick Owusu, he joined the Porcupine Warriors when Paa Kwesi Fabin assumed his position at the club handed.
It is believed Owusu’s relationship with Fabin forced him to leave the club since his boss is no longer at the club.
Public Relations Officer of the Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Duku confirmed Owusu’s resignation on Kumasi based radio station Metro FM.
“Derick Owusu has resigned from his role as the physical trainer alongside Paa Kwesi Fabin. He, Owusu, handed us his letter of resignation on Friday.” Communication director Sarfo Duku said on Metro FM.
Meanwhile, Paa Kwesi Fabin is reported to be joining newly promoted National First Division (NFD) outfit Maccabi FC in South Africa.
Derrick Owusu could join his boss in South Africa in the coming weeks.
