Head of the GFA Normalisation Committee Dr Kofi Amoah has called for massive support for Asante Kotoko ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Kariobangi Sharks.
The Porcupine Warriors will play as guests to the Kenyan side in the preliminary round of the competition at the Kasarani MISC Stadium on Saturday.
Several pundits have touted the Sharks as favourites ahead of the game following their unblemished display against Djibouti side Arta Solar in the previous round.
However, Dr. Amoah has urged every Ghanaian to back the Reds as they aim to hoist the flag of the high.
“The Normalization Committee supports Asante Kotoko, we admonish all Ghanaians to pray for them and support them as well,” Mr. Amoako stated on Oyerepa FM.
“Kotoko is a top club in Ghana, Africa and the world so should they do well, that will be good for Ghana football.”
“Kotoko has done well, they have invested a lot and we pray God bless their struggle.”
