Ghana sends team to 7th IAAF Championships

Eight foreign-based athletes who are currently putting finishing touches to their preparations in Germany will represent Ghana at the 7th IAAF championships in Seville.

Germany based Eric Nkansah will leave for Seville tomorrow to be joined on Thursday by the rest of the team. Expected are Christiana Nsiah, Albert Agyeman, Kenneth Andam, Tanko Briamah, Mark Anthony Awere and Monica Twum the only female among the lot.

Myles Mills currently in Finland will join his teammates later. The team will be led by a technical team made up of S.S. Atuahene and George Daniel.
