Ghanaian Rapper, Edward Kofi Agyeman Amoah, known in showbiz as Kofi Mole has expressed worries about the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nominations which excluded his songs from all categories.
Speaking in an interview with Prince Benjamin on the Class Drive (CD) on Class 91.3FM on Thursday, 21 March 2019, the ‘Mensah’ hitmaker stated that he has done a lot of work which the VGMAs should have recognised.
“I think I should have been nominated in the Hip-hop Song Of The Year [category] for ‘Mensah’, which featured Kwesi Arthur, Best New Artiste Of The Year, because I think I did a lot of work that I should have been given that recognition and Rapper Of The Year Category. I should have been there.”
He continued: “I guess these three, if not anything, I should have been nominated in these categories. I don’t feel cheated but I just don’t understand it; that is how I feel now.”
