Politician and communications expert Kojo Yankah has urged Ghanaians to see the opportunity in foreign establishments leaving Ghana.
There are reports that some multinational companies are pulling out of Ghana.
The known names are Glovo and Societe Generale, who have announced their departure from the West African country.
These establishments leaving Ghana have generated discussions on social media, with several people blaming the government for mismanaging the economy.
But Kojo Yankah is of the view that this should be a blessing to local businesses. He argues that as foreign entities are leaving Ghana, it is imperative that Ghanaians now support local industries to grow and become better.
Making his position known in a post shared via social media, he said, "Foreign companies leaving Ghana? An opportunity for local entrepreneurs! Let’s support local entrepreneurship!"
