The suspects are in police custody assisting investigations
A car stealing syndicate has been busted by the Tarkwa Police in the Western region Thursday.
The vehicle, according to the Police, was rented from the Legon Run and Errand car rental in Accra, but ended up in Tarkwa.
According to Starr News sources, the arrest was conducted upon a tip off that the suspects were in possession of a stolen Toyota Corolla, which they had put on sale.
They are Godfrey Kwakye,42, Samuel Nana Kwakye, 38, Baba Kankani, 38, and Joseph Osei 36.
Confirming the arrest to Empire FM’s Nana Adjoa Entsuah Friday, the Public Relations Officer of the Western regional Police Command ACP Olivia Awurabena Aduku said the suspects are in police custody assisting investigations.
