The host of Starr FM’s ‘Morning Zoo’ and Kasapa FM’s entertainment review show, Kojo Preko Dankwa has revealed that the viral news on Thursday, August 14 that her former colleague Belinda Addadey, popularly known in showbiz circles as Berla Mundi had switched camp from their Excellence in Broadcasting media fame to join Media General is one that is a huge blow to their outfit.
Speaking in an interview with Buckman on Top FM’s entertainment review show on Saturday morning, Kojo emphasized that in as much as media personnel move from one firm to the other occasionally, it is sometimes painful, especially when the person leaving was doing very well on the various shows he/she handled.
He also stressed that Berla Mundi’s switch to Media General is a huge blow because she was a great brand associated with them at the EiB taking into account how the station has in the last five years helped groom and shape her to become one of the household names on the TV screens.
In as much as he stated that Berla’s switch was not the best of news for them as an organization, Kojo Preko Dankwa was also quick to advise media organizations to make sure they grow benches for their various shows so that in case someone leaves, it will not be a big problem filling in that void which will be left.
