Projecting the new wave and sound out of Africa, Mr. Eazi had no business in Africa until June 2017 however, there was very big reason to take a break and return home; her mum’s birthday.
Yes, mummy’s boy, Mr. Eazi couldn’t afford to miss his mum’s birthday on May 9 as it’s always worth being celebrated while alive.
Speaking to NY DJ on Kumasi’s number 1 urban breakfast show #RYSENSHYNE on Y102.5FM, the musician who has been on the Detty World Tour playing shows in the USA and UK stated aside taking a break to celebrate his mum’s birthday, he also felt the need to relax his voice since he’s been playing shows “back to back”.
Mr. Eazi would however not reveal how he spent the mum’s birthday.
Although on break with the Detty World Tour, the Best International Artist, Africa nominee at the 2017 BET Awards is still not resting as he has been on various sets shooting music videos and commissioning projects.
"I’ve shot a number of videos since I came down to Ghana. I had to shoot Lord Paper’s video, Lil Shaker’s video and that of Eazzy. I was also in the studio for Tilapia which is like a short movie and as we speak, I’m on my way to Tamale where I’m looking at doing a water project for the people and also meet with my new friend Fancy Gadam to cook up one or two.”
Mr. Eazi returns to Detty World Tour in June 2017.
