Lord Kenya shouldn’t have stopped hiplife - Presenter
YFM’s youngest radio jock Erskine popularly known as Rev Erskine says if He could bring any old hiplife artist back into the Ghanaian music industry it would be Lord Kenya now known as Evangelist Lord Kenya.
Rev expressed what he termed ‘a sincere opinion’ over the weekend on His Saturday Show “YCampusExpress” as YFM honoured 60 memorable songs from Ghana since independence on their special 4 day weekend themed #GHMusicAt60.
Lord Kenya who dropped his hiplife career and took up Evangelism in the Christian ministry some years ago according to Rev was one of the most talented hiphlife acts out of Ghana. Rev made mention of some of “Lord Kenya’s” old hits like “SikaBaa” & ” Driver SusuKo” and tagged them as his two favorite Old Hip life Hits from Ghana.
He further stated that, although Lord Kenya’s decision was for a greater cause, he just wished he was still in the game to inspire more talents to get into Hiphlife and also help put Ghana’s hiplife industry into its perfect shape.
