Golden Movies Awards is an annual award that celebrates outstanding achievement in African television and film.
The nomination announcement event which was held at the Ibis Hotel in Accra, Ghana saw in attendance Lilian Esoro, Nigerian actress, Nadia Buari, Nikki Samonas, Maame Dokono, Lydia Forson, Gloria Sarfo and others.
This year's Nomination announcement is also a special edition as the Awards scheme is celebrating its 3rd year of successfully awarding African filmmakers.
GMAA gives the opportunity to African filmmakers from around the world to receive praise, recognition and be awarded for their efforts at telling the African stories to both Africans and the rest of the world during the period under review.
