Emerging Ghanaian artiste, Safo Newman, has expressed his discontent with what he describes as misleading stories about him circulating in the media.
He claims that numerous bloggers write about him solely to attract clicks.
Safo Newman made these observations during his appearance on Asempa FM, where he also called on bloggers to ensure the precision and impartiality of their reports to avoid causing damage.
"I always say that people want to do anything just to trend, don't believe any story you see. Bloggers normally create a headline just to get traffic for them. I want to urge the media to make sure they are writing the exact and fair captions for their stories in order not to cause damage," he remarked.
The conversation about Safo Newman's public image escalated when Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale reproached his team for neglecting his image enhancement while concentrating on his music promotion.
Amidst these debates, Safo Newman, who also serves as a teacher at Cosmos Basic School in Accra, has been praised for his innovative fusion of contemporary and traditional music styles, particularly with his hit single 'Akokoa,' which debuted in 2023.
