MC Yeboah demands probe into video of 12-year-old allegedly drinking alcohol
Media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has joined scores of Ghanaians online who have expressed concern over a viral video in which 12-year-old content creator Adobea was spotted consuming alcohol.
In the video, which surfaced on social media on September 1, 2026, the content creator was seen at a pub with a woman believed to be her caretaker, drinking and dancing to a song.
Reacting to the development, which has since sparked numerous discussions online, MC Yaa Yeboah has called for a proper investigation.
According to her, if it is confirmed that the 12-year-old was indeed consuming alcohol, the video should not be dismissed as mere content creation or a social media stunt.

“If the age and circumstances surrounding the video are confirmed, this should not be dismissed as mere entertainment, content creation, or a social-media stunt,” she said.
She also noted that even though Adobea may appear and sound all grown up, her age represents a critical stage of physical, emotional, and psychological development.
Mc Yeboah therefore warned that allowing her to consume alcohol at such an age could have serious consequences on her life.
She further called on the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection to commence an investigation into the matter.
“At 12 years old, a child is still at a critical stage of physical, emotional, and psychological development. Allowing or encouraging a minor to consume alcohol, particularly in a public drinking environment, raises important questions about supervision, safeguarding, and the responsibility of the adults around that child,” she added.
