‘Barosky repatriated to Ghana’ - Okudzeto Ablakwa confirms

Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has confirmed that Ghanaian musician Barosky, who became a subject of public concern after reports of his deplorable state in the United Kingdom, has been repatriated to Ghana. In a Facebook post on September 8, 2026, the foreign affairs minister revealed that the Hiplife musician was flown back into the country on Monday, September 7, 2026. According to him, the government fully sponsored Barosky’s trip, adding that the musician is now safe in Ghana. As part of our consular mandate, the Foreign Ministry fully sponsored his repatriation to Ghana last night,” he said.
