‘Have you seen how he jams to his own songs?’ – DJ Slim praises Shatta Wale’s passion
Ghanaian media personality and disc jockey DJ Slim has praised dancehall musician Shatta Wale for his passion and dedication to his craft.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on September 10, 2026, DJ Slim mentioned that he admires Shatta Wale's work ethic and the passion he brings to his music.
“I love Shatta Wale’s craft and hustle. He’s so passionate about the work he does,” he said.

According to DJ Slim, one of the clearest signs of Shatta Wale's passion is the excitement he displays whenever he listens and dances to his own songs.
“Have you seen how he jams to his own songs? That is passion. I don’t think we amplify that thing much. We need to really amplify that part,” he stated.
DJ Slim further stressed that passion is an important quality for anyone hoping to survive and achieve success in their chosen field.
“You need passion in order to survive or be successful in any field, and he has that, so I love it,” he added.
