Egyptian businessman Abdelbaeth Selima has praised Ghana’s business environment, describing the country as an easy place for foreigners to establish and operate businesses.
Having spent nine years in Ghana, Selima said the country’s peaceful environment, welcoming people and relatively straightforward business processes had made his experience a positive one.
“It’s very easy,” he said when asked whether it was easy to do business in Ghana.
According to Selima, in a post sighted on X, Ghanaians are generally humble and do not appreciate arrogance, which he believes makes it easier for foreigners to interact and do business with them.
“Ghanaians are simple people. They don’t like arrogance,” he said.
However, he urged Ghanaians to be more patient in their pursuit of wealth, particularly those who expect to become successful quickly.
“Some Ghanaians want to be rich the same day that their mother born them. My friend, take your time,” he said.
