The daughter of late Beverly Afaglo has pledged to continue her mother’s legacy by helping to revive and grow Traffic Shawarma.
Speaking at the relaunch of Traffic Shawarma on September 23, 2026, the late actress’s daughter reflected on her mother’s dedication to the business and her determination to see the brand become a household name in Ghana.
She said she is determined not to let the business her mother built fade away, stressing her commitment to preserving and expanding its legacy.
“I don’t want to watch my mother’s dream fade away,” she said.
According to her, she grew up watching her mother work tirelessly to build Traffic Shawarma, witnessing the long hours, sacrifices and passion she invested in the business.
“Growing up, I watched my mother work tirelessly to build Traffic Shawarma. I saw the long hours, the sacrifices and the passion she poured into the business because she wanted to create a Ghanaian brand that would become a household name,” she stated.

She explained that Traffic Shawarma was more than just a source of income for her mother, describing it as a dream she had worked hard to bring to life.
“Traffic Shawarma was more than just a business to my mother; it was her dream. She wanted to create jobs, serve delicious food and build a brand that would reach communities across Ghana,” she shared.
Reflecting on her mother’s passing, she said that although Beverly Afaglo was no longer alive, the vision she had for the business remained relevant.
“Today, although my mother is gone to be with the Lord, the dream she worked so hard to build is still alive. Her passing has left a vacuum, but it has also given me an opportunity and a responsibility,” she noted.
She also acknowledged the support of her father, Choirmaster, noting that he stood by her mother and played a role behind the scenes throughout her journey with the business.
“With the support of my father, he stood by my mother and was involved behind the scenes throughout her journey. I’m committed to continuing her legacy and helping to build the future of the business,” she added.
